Hypnotherapy in Melbourne and via Zoom

I’m Ronnie, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Counsellor, and Somatic Focusing Oriented Psychotherapist dedicated to helping you become the best version of yourself. I’m proud to say that I have found my calling in life and that is helping people heal and fully connect to their true selves.

I’m often asked, “How did you become a hypnotherapist?”

So here is my Story:

*please note that this is my own personal experience with hypnotherapy and results may vary from person to person.

Throughout my teens and twenties I suffered from anxiety, depression and an eating disorder. During some of the worst periods of my life I was studying psychology at university. From my studies and training I knew I needed to seek help, so the therapy and concoctions of pharmaceuticals began (I was in a REALLY bad place). I found great support and help with most of my therapists and believe that they were all stepping stones along my path to inner peace. The eating disorder was the first to go however reflecting back now I had disordered eating for many years after, which included rigid thinking about food which consumed a lot of my mental space, and continued to contribute to my poor body image. In my mid twenties I was able to come off all medications, however it wasn’t until I started therapy with a psychotherapist that specialised in hypnotherapy that my life really began to change. At this point in my life I had been in and out of intensive therapy and knew the reasons why I had all these issues. I had developed some better coping strategies however for some reason I still would fall into depressive episodes and experience anxiety and panic attacks from time to time. I had had enough…I remember standing in my kitchen one day and yelling to the sky, “Will someone please help me?!” During that week I started researching therapists again in my area when I saw a therapist that did hypnosis.

I was intrigued, skeptical and at that point ready to try anything, so I did, and let me tell you it was one of the best decisions of my life. The therapist and I did one on one hypnotherapy sessions and I participated in an intensive 5 day workshop where I unravelled and changed some of the deepest core beliefs about myself that fed the depression and anxiety. I was taught self hypnosis and how to identify and change limiting core beliefs that feed negative emotional states. During the intensive workshop I found a spiritual connectedness that was the pivotal turning point for me to start loving myself and live my purpose. This helped me to realise that the career I was in at the time was not my true calling and was not fulfilling me. I wanted to share the amazing transformations of hypnosis and help others in the way that I was helped and that is when I decided to become a hypnotherapist. So here I am, I can now see that I experienced all this in my life so that I can help others to heal and love and accept themselves too. I truly believe…

 Everything happens for a reason.

I have been seeing Ronnie for several months now, and I cannot express our life-changing it has been. I can really say that Ronnie basically saved my life. His approach has been fantastic and I cannot recommend him enough to anyone considering counselling.

Ronnie is amazing and unique, and incredibly real. Even in a few sessions I felt connected to what I was saying, and to what he was saying. Very quickly, I was able to action outcomes that have shaped me significantly. I haven’t quite met someone who listens like Ronnie does, she empathises and then hits me in the face (not literally) with proactive strategies that align with who I am. Book in a session without hesitation. One of the best investments I have made.

Ronnie my time working with Diana, I have found him to be insightful, professional, caring and passionate about what she does. He has given me a number of useful tools that I can use to move forward in my life and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. I was a bit ambivalent about the Skype format before my first session, but it actually works really well and I can connect with her wherever I am in the world.
